My son does the same thing & his doctor said it was laryngomalacia as well but she said it’s normal as long as he’s eating fine & it’s not causes him to lose weight, and that it should go away by time he’s about 4 months🤔 Should I get a 2nd opinion?

aw my son had laryngomalacia. i just had a baby and it’s so weird having a baby who doesn’t have it, the difference in the cries are crazy.

My baby does this but the doctor said she didn’t see any issue because she’s gaining weight and wrote it off as colic it takes her over an hour to finish a bottle

My daughter does this, but she feeds fine, besides the spillage from her mouth lol I mean she falls asleep but not enough to stop eating, But she has really bad gas, barely burps. But breaths fine as well. I think it’s going to be a mild case of this but we will see what the pediatrician says tomorrow. This is my 3rd baby and I never knew this was a thing.

My son has the same thing if you lay them on their side on your lap during feeding and control the pace that they drink it helps to where they can actually eat better and breathe a little bit better while eating we were just in the hospital this weekend because we weren’t aware until they said something and it’s honestly helped us

my daughter kinda does this, not the high pitch noise just the baby noise. she gains weight perfectly fine and normally finishes a bottle within roughly 10 minutes. should we still get it checked?

I want to say thank you for posting this.. i saw it earlier and noticed my 5 week old does this and immediately called his doctor.. who wants to see him no later than next week due to suspecting he has it.. thank u..😭💙

My daughter used to do this and it went away. The doctor even said it would go away and it eventually did.

Is his better now? I sometimes feel bad for my baby, but the doctor says he will outgrown it but I'm scared 😰, I can't wait for him to get better.

My baby grew out of it, but my pediatrician still sent me to check and be sure that it wasn’t extensive to give me piece of mind. If yours did not, find a new doctor guys.
