@matureandcurvyjules: Good morning Insta chums ❤️ Hope you’re all well!! Wearing this lovely co-ord I bought from @george @asda a few months ago. It’s been hanging in my wardrobe still with the labels on! 😂 Finally decided it was time to wear it. I love how floaty, comfortable and easy it is. But honestly… how’s life treating everyone? It’s a strange one for me at the moment. I get up every day, put on my positive head and keep going, but sometimes life just keeps throwing those unexpected curveballs. We don’t always realise how hard life can become. Things have happened that I never, in my wildest dreams, could have imagined. I honestly thought losing both my parents would be the hardest pain I would ever have to face. But life had other plans, and somehow there has been even more heartache. It’s 5am as I’m writing this and I still can’t get my head around some of the things that have happened. One thing I do know, deep in my heart, is that I have always given my all. I have lived my life with integrity, loved deeply, put others first and often put myself last. So why can the actions of others hurt us so deeply, especially when they are people we believe are meant to care about us? Maybe this is where things need to change. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life worrying about other people’s actions, trying to make everyone happy or allowing their behaviour to destroy my peace. I need to start choosing me. ❤️ I need to stop accepting things that hurt me and stop allowing other people’s actions to determine how I feel about myself. Life is far too short. I’m still learning, still healing and still trying to find my way through this strange chapter of my life. But I’m here. I’m still standing.
