Few points of clarification here: points earning is actually worse, you get 1.5 X over 5000 instead of the 2X - the annual spend is significantly higher than 250,000 to be considered and it’s usually a longitudinal spend an additional to an annual - the only one that’s worth it is the business Centurion because you get 50% points back on all travel books so it’s essentially 50% off all travel and that’s the main park in addition to equinox global

Not really, was a platinum and nowhere close to that level. Every year they offered Centurion, always said no, as the additional benefits were at best marginal. At the end, best decision was to leave Amex totally, and never to look back
