Not because I hated the app. Because I hated the version of myself I'd become trying to keep up with it. I was constantly thinking about content, wondering if I'd posted enough, and checking whether my latest post had "worked." Before I deleted it, I checked my iPhone Screen Time. 2 hours and 31 minutes a day. That's over 900 hours a year. Nearly 40 days of my life 😲😲 Gone. Today, my average screen time on Pinterest is 23 minutes a day (and honestly, most of that's outfit inspiration and nail ideas 😂). Everything else gets batched once a month and scheduled via Tailwind. The biggest thing I gained wasn't more traffic. It was time. Time to read (I've finished 40 books in the last two years 📚). Time to switch off. Time to enjoy running my business again. Ironically, while spending less time on social media, Pinterest now sends me around 1,500 website clicks a month. My final month on Instagram sent me 97.
