IMO the problem with the Ollie these days is kids try to learn it before they can really even skate around flat ground well. I see kids that will sit stationary trying to Ollie before they can even just kick turn, tictac. None of the things that give you stability and agility on your board. Just sayin.

every trick begins with an ollie it's the number one most important thing to learn first literally every trick begins with an Olliel and if you say no you don't skate that fundamental first motion of an ollie is in everything we do as simple as a method air we're still owing off the top lip when you do a kickflip you're owing the board into the air it's all about your Ollie

Skated for 15 years. Practice tricks in the grass first, then the driveway then moving. Gotta put in the hours but worth it
