@taragfitt: 6 months ago I found out I had a miscarriage for an unexpected yet very wanted pregnancy & it rocked my world. I genuinely thought I could fix anything but for the first time in my life I couldn’t. I’ve never felt grief like it. For the life I thought I was going to live, for the due date I was going to have, for the family we were going to be. One day it was all there the next day it was gone and that was the hardest thing being in a reality I didn’t want to be in. I grieved, I talked, I journaled, I did therapy then hypnotherapy but after sitting in it I knew I needed to focus on myself and loving my life again. So I set myself a goal, to train, to eat well, to journal, to be more present, to remove things in my life that weren’t aligned, to have FUN, to enjoy all of the experiences I didn’t think I’d get to enjoy (like being in Bali right now) due to being pregnant and HOW LUCKY AM I that I get to have these amazing moments and memories. When your spark goes out, there’s a time where you won’t be able to light it no matter how hard you try, but you have to keep trying, you’ll need someone else to help you light it until one day it’ll come back itself. You’ll be the lighter for someone else soon but it’s ok if you couldn’t be for a while, that’s the circle of life 🤍 Anyway, the theory I have is your spark wont light unless you do the things to bring it back (and yes you won’t want to at the start, you might feel numb but do them anyway)!
