I hate learning something on the surface. Like when a mathematical concept gets introduced I wanna understand it to the way that I just know the formula and don't need to remember it. But I hate that for uni exams it's often just simpler learning a step by step guide on how to use an algo than to really understand it ...

In fact I noticed this especially in English and Arabic , I used to be the best in my class so I didn’t care about improving my languages that I even forgot how to study English and Arabic , and a year ago I noticed that there are words in English I no longer understand them , I felt so stupid so I tried to study English but when I tried I couldn’t find out how? I should learn and how I learned all I remember is that mom teached me English until she made sure I can continue alone , but people around me made me feel special and better than my age ( I was indeed) , but that made me feel so good that I stopped learning , and now I am better but I still don’t know how to study English, by a somehow the informations just exist , I can’t explain it when they ask me to explain , and I feel shame when I don’t know a word , and way I am 41 ( Reversed ) I didn’t use translator d m first language is Arabic , hope I write this right

I’ve noticed that I have on and off days where I’m really thinking deeply and some I’m just not there. It always showed in English lessons

Idk if it's me because I never really had to try hard in school and I do think I'm pretty smart but do people like ask those questions automatically or passively or actually actively because I don't actively think those questions so Idk if I'm really a deep thinker

I js realised that I naturally think that parts of the text is just water and not needed and coming across some information that seems more interesting, I remember it more than the rest of the text... I never thought that's smth somewhat special 😭

Hello :
This felt like u was describing my whole life. I just experienced that kind of transmission and did try putting on more time just to keep up. Even thought i
Im not in college yet, it started with me deciding to do better than just pretty good that I was not satisfied with just A- or B because i knew I could actually do better if I wanted to. But then as I was putting on more and more hours of studying it worked at first but then it turned into me putting on more hours just to keep up with my new best. And I kept reading chapters for hours without a proper study strategy and in the end it felt like a burn out and I was out in this ocean without knowing how to swim.

so when you said that ,, make it simpler "
or ,, relevant and connected " it is something like you realning new thema and you are like conecting the dots or make it simpler to your self to understand it in less effort
