essentially what you’re saying is that Allah will reward you regardless, even though if it’s the bare minimum or in other words, the small efforts that you make in your day whether it’s daily prayers, du’as, and what not.

Praying one prayer is better than not praying at all. Saying Astaqfirullah with sincerity once is better than not saying it at all. Allah does not require us to change entirely, He(jalla jallaluh) wants us to do what we can for him… Remember Allah saying “When my servant walks towards me, I run towards them”… don’t seek perfection, seek sincerity in the little acts you do❤️You worded it beautifully! sister may Allah make it easy for us all🥰

My mom told me a phrase if we don’t sin and be perfect then allah will replace us with people who will sin and seeks allah to repent and here I understood that we need the positive and the negative to get the balance because we are humans being and allah knows us better he didn’t demande perfection because it’s not our journey.

Thisss. The absolute dread and distress I feel when I realize the hobbies I’d argue are mostly harmless if at all, to my deen, others and myself, were apparently haram!!! I’d just walk around feeling a nagging sensation in the back of my head as I thought of all the reasons I’m apparently likely going to be sent to hell for. I honestly still feel this way. But I know that Allah swt is the most merciful and understanding and knows us and me better than any human, and forgives us extremely better than any human. It’s hard to know the dos an dont’s, and having those mental tug of wars with an accompanying feeling of dread and guilt for something you might not even be guilty for. BUT you know alhamidullilah and inshallah Allah swt will show us mercy and understanding for things we try to understand but are unable to.

A while back my life went completely downhill,my health was gone and so many things in my life were going absolutely horrible and i tried to hold onto my deen i genuinely did but everything kept getting worse and honestly i just kinda gave up,i started getting my nails done and lashes and putting on more makeup,ect and now ive been trying to get back to my deen but i can’t just take everything off suddenly it feels unnatural,although i know it’s the right thing to do but i just can’t but i have this immense guilt whenever i pray with nails or lashes ,ects but im trying to be gentle w myself and remind myself that allahs grace and forgiveness is way bigger than mine ever will be but honestly it’s still extremely hard and sometimes discouraging bec i know that my prayers are probably not accepted but i have to convince myself that a not so perfect prayer is way better than none

Allahummabarik, very well said. Like Allah SWT states in the quran “He is the One Who sent down serenity upon the hearts of the believers so that they may increase even more in their faith.” Above everything we should remind ourselves that Allah knows what is inside one’s heart. It is the fact that Allah wants you to keep trying, so submit to him. And always remember the hadith: “And if he walks to me, I rush to him.” Don’t ever lose hope, even if you think you aren’t doing enough, that’s a sign of iman, so be ready to keep growing. May Allah swt make us steadfast in our deen, Allahumma Ameen🤍.

Whenever I reach a particularly stressful phase in my life, I'm always struck by how much I miss regular contact with Allah. I resolve all the more to perform my prayers and return to Allah, but so far I still find it difficult, especially to perform the five daily prayers. I just made a long Duah and I Allahuma make it easier for all of us. 🤲

its the people around you who makes it harder, especially for someone whos new to this, whos just finding out about his creator, learning stuff, and then people around you, or some tiktoks and reels just makes it so tiring and you then you try to maintain everything at once and lose even the smallest sincere act you had with Allah. we should take this step by step, steps where you feel the actual connection with Allah, not with the validation of people or your own mind. May Allah help us all. Ameen.
