Initially, a liquid cement mixture is prepared in a rectangular container. A piece of heavy fabric is completely submerged in the mix until it is thoroughly saturated. Three upside-down plastic buckets are used as a mold. The soaked fabric is draped over this bucket frame, and the material is then arranged to create vertical folds. The piece is left in this position until the cement completely dries and cures. Once hardened, the newly formed shell is removed from the plastic frame. The surface of the finished piece is hand-painted white with a brush. In the final stage, the planter is placed on a wooden deck, filled with soil, and used to plant a decorative tree.
