Please don’t negotiate the price with any taxi. If the taxi driver is empty get in and demand him to switch the meter on. if he refuses, get another taxi and if he escalates the situation start filming but don’t film his face take a video of the situation and the taxi number & plate number and report him. Enjoy your trip in Morocco!

The same thing happened to me in Bali.....I hadn't downloaded the transport app, so while I was doing it a "can driver" came up to me and said he can give me a ride I told him no thank you, then he just stayed hovering by my side while I downloaded the app for gojek continuely offering his service and since he's already here it will be quicker other cabs will take 30-40mins....then he mentioned a price and when I showed him it's cheaper through the app, he reduced the price...as we were headed to the hotel that's when he started to hustle me for me....it continued even as we arrived at the hotel, stating that the hotel is expensive so I should give him more...even as he unloaded my bags still hustled me for more.
