@chindanaiphuankam: Pattani Biennale 2026 ชินดนัย ปวนคำ เรื่องราวน้ำ กก 2569 Installation วัสดุกระดาษ 80 แกรม เทคนิคตัดตุง สีอะคริลิคผสมน้ำ กก 16x26 ซม. จำนวน 144 ชิ้น ตุงล้านนา แบ่งหลังๆ อยู่ 2 ประเภท 1.ตุงมงคล ใช้ในงานมงคล งานเฉลิมฉลอง งานทำบุญ 2.ตุงอวมงคลใช้ในงานศพ หรือกรณีคนตายโหง สู่ถอนวิญญาณ เพื่อเปิดทางให้ดวงวิญญาณสามารถเดินทางผ่าน 3 โลก มารับส่วนบุญส่วนกุศลในวันสำคัญต่าง ๆ ตามประเพณีล้านนา ชินดนัยจึงเลือกใช้ตุงอวมงคลในการเปิดทางใน แม่น้ำ กก ที่ได้ตายไปแล้วกลับมาเยี่ยมเยือนโลกมนุษย์อีกครั้ง แม่น้ำ กก ชาตะ พ.ศ. 1805 และ มรณะใน พ.ศ. 2568 ประวัติศาสตร์แม่น้ำ กก เท่าที่มีในบันทึกล้านนา ยุคสถาปนาเชียงราย พ.ศ. 1805 (คริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 13) พญามังราย ทรงเลือกทำเลในการสร้าง "เมืองเชียงราย" โดยปักหมุดศูนย์กลางเมืองไว้ที่ดอยจอมทอง และใช้ แม่น้ำกก เป็นปราการธรรมชาติทางทิศเหนือและตะวันออก รวมถึงเป็นเส้นทางคมนาคมหลักในการเชื่อมต่อชุมชน ต่อมาแม่น้ำ กก มรณะในปี พ.ศ. 2568 จากการทำเหมืองแร่ดินหายาก (Rare Earths) และเหมืองทองคำที่ขาดการควบคุม ในรัฐฉาน ประเทศเมียนมา พื้นที่ต้นน้ำของแม่น้ำ กก และแม่น้ำสาย ผลงานนี้สร้างขึ้นใหม่สำหรับ Pattani Biennale 2026 ------------------- Pattani Biennale 2026 Chindanai Phuankam Series Kok River 2026 Installation Material/Technique: Acrylic on paper (80 gsm), traditional Tung cutting technique Dimensions: 16 x 26 cm (144 pieces) Lanna Tung (Flags) Lanna flags, known as "Tung," are primarily divided into two main categories: Auspicious Flags (Tung Mongkol): Used in auspicious ceremonies, celebrations, and merit-making events. Inauspicious Flags (Tung Awamongkol): Used in funerals or in cases of sudden, unnatural deaths to perform soul-recalling rituals (Su Thon). These flags clear the path for the deceased's soul to journey through the three realms to receive merits on important traditional Lanna days. For this reason, Shindanai chose to use an inauspicious flag to open the way for the spirit of the Kok River—which has already "died"—so that it may return to visit the human world once again. The Kok River: Born 1262 AD (1805 BE) | Died 2025 AD (2568 BE) Historical Background According to Lanna historical records, the history of the Kok River dates back to the founding of Chiang Rai in 1262 AD (1805 BE / 13th Century). King Mangrai selected this location to establish "Chiang Rai City," positioning the city center at Doi Chom Thong. He utilized the Kok River as a natural defensive barrier to the north and east, and as a vital transportation route connecting various communities. The "Death" of the River The Kok River met its "death" in 2025 AD (2568 BE). This ecological tragedy was caused by unregulated rare earth and gold mining operations in Shan State, Myanmar—the upstream headwaters of both the Kok and Sai rivers.
