Black parents don’t have the luxury of not preaching accountability because that miss concept in parenting can cause their children their lives. Black kids are taught to check yourself to avoid death, racism etc. we have to be accountable because society made it that way. Even when we aren’t in the wrong… 💯

We are literally witnessing this in the Nolan Wells case. Those white parents aren’t holding their children accountable for what happened on that island. Instead, they have made them the victims. It’s a vicious cycle.

As a mom with 5&6 yr old boys and when we’re out at restaurants (without any tablets or electronics.) I have people mostly white for what ever reason come up to me to tell me how well mannared my children are at the table. I don’t see that as a compliment because how else are they suppose to act? I teach them to be respectful of people and places around them.

I promise I assure you it doesn’t matter what color you are, all colors of parents have a parenting problem. I fear there are tons of terrible parents throughout all ethnic backgrounds.

This isn’t a race issue because I’ve seen every race participate in this. This is due to people seeing things online, misunderstanding, and not doing them correctly. They saw that gentle parenting was popular so they didn’t look anything up they just decided that meant permissive parenting. This is a big significant issue in society right now because people are saying one thing they think is popular online projecting false beliefs so they can have approval but have no consideration or critical thought regarding others, and society as a whole. In public you see people permissive parenting because they are scared if they parent, someone is gonna say they are abusive. Now that it’s swaying, we’re gonna have people in public making a scene trying to show they “do parent see”. Get your heads out of your ass, and love your neighbor like you’re supposed to. Go help them instead of making a video spewing false beliefs that you don’t even really hold. If we don’t have real community in person with connections this problem is going to grow. The more we say these things are race issues, the more divide you are creating an that community can’t be possible if we all think that others are against us.
