Okay hi American here I was not kicked out of my room the moment I gave birth. I stayed for 4 days and my insurance covered every penny. I understand it’s not like that for everyone but this video is a huge exaggeration.

my ankle surgery everything was covered except my anesthesiologist ...an extra 5K 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 absolutely ridiculous. for a planned surgery like 5 months out for multiple tendon repairs ( ATFL and Achilles)

not accurate, my wife has had 2 children, not only was the bill around 2k each (2yrs apart) she had paid leave for 16 weeks for each and even i had leave as the father for 8 weeks paid.. its all about the company you work for and the insurance you have. the moral of the story is do your research and read everything from your employer and your insurance coverages before you have a baby.. hope this helps

Not accurate, my sister had my nephew and she stayed in the hospital, no complications or anything for 3 days. 1st day was the birth, second was check ups on the baby, third was taking the baby home. Which is the average time a mother will spend time in the hospital.
