@shaniakearney5: Honestly… the last two photos are the ones that surprised me the most. I was actually skinnier postpartum than I am now. It wasn’t pregnancy or postpartum that caused the weight gain for me — I noticed a pretty significant change after starting Lexapro. And before anyone takes this the wrong way… there is absolutely nothing wrong with gaining weight. 🤍 Lexapro has helped me in ways I’m incredibly grateful for, and I’d choose feeling mentally better over being a certain size every single time. But that doesn’t mean I can’t acknowledge that my body has changed, or that sometimes it’s hard seeing photos of yourself looking so different. I’m learning to hold both things at once — being grateful for where I am mentally, while also wanting to feel comfortable and confident in my body again. Bodies change. Hormones change. Medication can change things. Motherhood changes things. And none of it makes us any less worthy. 🤍 So please tell me I’m not the only one. 🥺 #lexapro #weightgain #loveyourself #confident #beauty
