I’m so tiered of people fear mongering about my sweet girl Threehalves. This robot is VERY cool. Sure she looks a little spooky, but it’s made to be able to walk through WILDFIRES! It’s remote controlled, it can’t go awol, and the craters have specifically told us how to kill it ONLY because they don’t want the military to be able to use it. One civilians know how to kill it it’s useless to the military and the creators are actively against their tech being used that way. This kinda tech has incredible applications in search and rescue operations and could save MANY lives of victims, and workers like firefighters alike.

I think this is actually great, thought out, human, and practical design. because if I was in a Forrest fire, almost passing out from carbon dioxide poisoning, and saw that thing behind me. I'm getting my shi straight together and am bolting tf away from that. I could breathe pure carbon monoxide and still keep on running out of whatever Forrest that thing is in.

Every robot should be presented like her. Be more concerned about Boston Dynamics and how they don't tell you outright how to disable their "dogs". Miss Threehalves is alright. I have far more trust in something that outright says "If I become a danger here is how to stop me" than anything where everyone is secretive.

im a literal atheist but i really dont fw the way theyve presented this. theyve made it look conventionally threatening to most people and it doesnt even come down to practical design. they know EXACTLY what theyre doing with these and when 10 or maybe 20 of these malfunction and kill people it wont be by accident mark my words
