thank you for saying this because I was under the impression that I was skipping something important by not doing it but I honestly dont think I would mentally survive that and I think that a lot of new people to the craft are also in a dark place

I have read that after shadow work you go through what is described as the dark night of the soul which there is not a lot of info on except horror stories of going through it. There is not a lot of practioners that talk about this experience.
