@greyandgold: you learn a lot about yourself from failure. mostly, in what you choose to do next: do you quit? or do you learn from it and keep going? when I decided to run this workshop again, I chose the latter. and you know what? it’s soooooo much better this time around because of that. the root of the system hasn’t changed. but the way I’m teaching it—and supporting you through it—has leveled up in so many ways. & that couldn’t have happened if I’d let the rejection and embarrassment convince me not to try again. I think that’s the beauty of being a ~confidently messy~ person on the internet. you show the wobbles. sometimes they turn into wins. sometimes they don’t. BUT… the wobble itself doesn’t mean something is fundamentally wrong. it doesn’t mean the workshop idea was bad. it doesn’t mean *I* was bad. it just means some things needed to change. and they might need to change again. that’s okay. that’s just what happens when you’re building something. it evolves. the core values can stay the same, while the way you bring them to life keeps changing with you. and the same is true for content. just because creating it has felt hard doesn’t mean it always has to. you don’t have to stay trapped in an old version of yourself, or the performative version you think you need to be in order to grow. you get to show up as a whole human, navigating real stuff, without it hurting your credibility. and to root into what you believe, while letting the stories you tell keep changing as you do.
