I owe a credit card £1.3k and such a low amount and I stopped making payments when I I maxed the card so they sold it to Lowell and theat was 2023 and what should o do? Call them to make a payment plans of £10 a month? Thanks

My ex got a phone online in my name without my knowledge, he moved out, years later refused to pay and now I owe £980 😳 how is this possible??

There are steps they need to go through to sell it according to the law of property act. Always DSAR and cca request the credit agreement. If all the paperwork is in order yes settle for a discount or pay but often they don't have the correct forms. Had 7k written off because they added charges during breathing space and another 3.5k unenforceable as original creditor kept no record after the sale.

What happens if it’s a utility company you’ve never spoken to or had any dealings with. The property you were on the lease for was in renovation so never used water and they’ve sent a bill for £4k?
