Bro for a water filter, you should look into a aquasana claryum direct connect. I have them at most of the sinks in my house and we just installed them at a relatives. It's so easy to replace and the water quality is good.

I say DO NOT add a garbage disposal because you have a septic and that’s not good for it my new house needed a new septic system because the old owner had one luckily the old owner had to pay for it.

please put an "S" trap under the kitchen sink. it will look better and take up less room than whatever that is. The most important part though, is that the "S" trap will eliminate the sewer gasses that will very likely come up the drain and stink up your treehouse 😎
