They were mercenaries brought to Libya by Erdogan to support the former Libyan Government of National Accord. Ultimately, they were all driven out of Libya by the Libyan Arab Armed Forces. The Libyan Army, particularly its Special Forces, undergo some of the toughest military exercises and training, including rapid assaults, raids, parachute jumps, and rappelling. They are also trained in some of the harshest environments, from the snow and freezing temperatures of the forests of Belarus to the plains and valleys of Libya, and even the scorching deserts of southern Libya in the Sahara.
