👉 𝘾𝙇𝙄𝘾𝙆 𝙏𝙊 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝘿 𝙁𝙐𝙇𝙇 𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙉𝙎𝘾𝙍𝙄𝙋𝙏 👈 ok singers, I'm going to give you my favorite vocal tip to make your voice feel better in literally seconds. This tip is one of the first tips that I present to my students on day one. And for many of them, this was the missing piece. I call it the poison gas breathing trick. First thing I want you to do is take a breath. Remember, in a relaxed breath - You should feel the diaphragm move down, slight expansion of ya gut, allowing your lungs to fill vertically. Now, I want you to imagine where you are right now - the bedroom, the kitchen, the car, the toilet - the room around you is filling with poison gas and you don't want to breathe it in So you take a breath and hold it. Now, imagine that for whatever reason, you have to say “Hi, my name is <your name>”. If you had to do it, you would do your best to conserve as much air as possible while vocalizing. Let’s give that a shot. Take a breath. Hold the air. Now we say, “Hi. My name is Hunter.” There you go. It's a different feeling right? Now, let’s take it a step further. Same setup. But now, instead of introducing yourself, count from 1 to 20. So it would sound something like this. Try it with me. Breathe in, Hold the air, and we count. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty. And then a release of air. This feeling directly relates to what you should feel in many parts of many songs. You need to spend some time on the feeling of this coordination and apply it to some of those midrange phrases. You'll be shocked at how one small adjustment to your breathing can provide massive improvement in your vocal precision, durability, and consistency. Thanks for watching. Happy singing, y'all. #vocalcoach #singingtips #breathingexercises #fyp #voicelesson #vocalexercise
