Political scientist myself. Something I noticed about fascist ideologies is a tendency towards the aestheticization of things. Everything is a very shallow dumbed down surface level representation, but nothing is genuine. The aesthetic of fitness, the aesthetic of intellectualism. Today we'd probably refer to this in layman's terms as "vibes based." Any time you really try to dig very far into fascist ideology, historically or modern, you just find there really isn't anything of substance there. Its just all vibes and aestetics.
