this first line up for these avengers would've been perfect for kang as the villain. he's multiversal threat his presence bringing everyone together makes sense! the set up is right there!! but hey! we can't recast! you WILL get nostalgia slop and aura moments.

Doom should’ve been requiring character like Loki across multiple movies as a antagonist and ally to the fantastic 4 to build his relationship will read in particular before Doomsday, secret wars is a story about the relationship between Reed and Doom

personally I get it. they needed to build this up a bit more. it's still hyped for what they're doing but maybe they'll make up for it the actual good moments, maybe dooms appearance might be just as well as thetaos
