Honestly young bob your making a totally reasonable point with hookup culture destroying men and women yet people will still defend it women say men are animals and men say women are liars mostly stems from hookup culture the more you say be what you want or bang who you want is the reason it becomes out of control essentially removing what was a social law which was unwritten ( don go and sleep with anyone) since everyone started saying you are allowed to sleep with who you want wonder why we have the highest divorce rates and refuse to make the distinction that there are connected.

I agree with Bob here. I think sexual liberation is a double edged sword: on the one hand, it’s great that men and women can explore different options if they so choose, and if exercised correctly, can be rewarding if you’re looking to meet a variety of people and not screw them over. However the negative cost of sexual liberation seems to far outweigh the benefits and this comes as no surprise, given how selfish people can be. Look how vile the dating scene has become, where the amount of people who claim they are looking for love, yet they can’t “commit” to a proper relationship is merely the tip of the iceberg. Dating sites like Tinder and Hinge seem to invite some really beastly behaviour from both sexes. The solution? I’m not sure you can shut the Pandora’s box now, but we can certainly encourage people to avoid dating sites and focus on one person at a time. Just my thoughts.
