People need to realize that Phop loved Tin with all his heart, but the system had to change so that ordinary people could have a chance to live normal lives. Remember, you are watching this in 2026 and all of you are privileged enough to judge the situation from a modern perspective. the show is set in the 1930s, almost a whole century ago. Phob did what he did for survival, while Tin is suffering because the person he loves 'betrayed' him. Tin grew up privileged, and while he is empathetic and kind, he has never experienced the suffering of ordinary people firsthand. Phob has. that is exactly why he is fighting. Tin's suffering is heartbreak but Phob's situation goes far beyond that. for him survival comes first, whether you like it or not. love comes after survival. you can't expect someone who has spent his life witnessing people suffer to simply put his love before the lives and futures of everyone around him. he loves Tin deeply but that doesn't erase the reality he is living in. & the reason Phob was able to rise in status in the first place was because he received an education funded by the royal family for a significant part of his life. but what about everyone else? Could they just work their way out of their circumstances like he did? Phob's suffering isn't just about his relationship with Tin. He has experienced the suffering of an entire country firsthand. for him this is about survival AND love too. saying Phob should've told Tin is so short sighted. like what do y'all think Tin would've done? Just watched Phob go through with it and not intervene? remember episode 5, when Tin gave Phob a false report? Tin had no idea that his father would order them to shoot and kill the people involved, but he still did it & that's exactly the point: this is a matter of survival. if Phob had told Tin, he wouldn't just be risking his own life; he would've been putting everyone connected to him at risk too.

Only thing I will say is neither deserves pain and though Phob was wrong using Tin's info, people should try understand both sides. It wasnt easy for Phob to do what he did but he had to do it for them and for everyone. He even said, even though he will choose to do it again, he will keep Tin away from everything. The revolution was necessary at that time of history, and unfortunately his only access to information to win happened to be the one he loves the most. It is truly a heartbreaking situation to be in as well. And Tin, I cannot describe the heartache I have for his character. He was ready to leave everything behind and fight everyone for Phob only to find out Phob was doing something behind his back and that now his family will go through changes because of it. And I think he shouldnt have overheard the conversation with Phob and Phob's mom because it was incomplete. He deserved a full explaination from Phob from first time.

This series stressed me out sm, but yk what’s somehow even worse? OFC seeing ppl hate on Phob without even trying to understand what’s going on deep inside him. They genuinely need to understand that this series isn’t just a love story between two boys. There’s a whole political conflict at the center of it, yet people keep ignoring that and attacking Phob, saying he doesn’t deserve Tinn or that they want them to have a sad ending. Like… are y’all deadass?? Ur the one who don’t deserve to watch this series (i said what is said) They’re BOTH hurting. They’re BOTH carrying huge responsibilities, and they’re both trapped in a situation that’s bigger than their love for each other. Yet people would rather pick one person to hate than actually face the reality of what they’re going through. (And be so serious… do you REALLY think Tinn wants a sad ending for them either?? )

Breaking 2 hearts against millions his selfless sacrifice for his country.. Still Phob punishment for betrayal should be not being able to together with Tin. I understand Phob but once trust is broken cannot be mended. Tin needs to move forward and find his own happiness in someone who sees him as his world. As a viewer, I can understand Phob but can’t accept Tin’s forgiveness

I hate that people keep saying they shouldn’t end up together. I could just be interpreting the show differently but I feel like they should end up together. I have many reasons but the biggest one is it shows just how much love can overcome. It truly shows that they have both been through so much but no matter the battles they still came together in the end. I feel like they both understand each other so deeply that it would make sense for them to be together. Not everyone would be able to forgive someone because of betrayal but Tin would. This is because he knows that it had to be done. He saw what Phob went through and what he was currently going through at the time. While Phob was also able to understand Tin for being upset. Because he knows how his situation is and how much Tin’s family did for him in the beginning. Overall, I see this show as a way to show how despite everything standing in your way, you can overcome it with love. That no matter the obstacle and the constant push back from other people, they would still be able to be together in the end. It’s truly beautiful if you think of it like that. But again, this is just my opinion and others may see it differently. 😁
