This is almost satire writing itself. Women are expected to plan their fertility with the precision of a NASA launch while a collection of politicians who think an ectopic pregnancy is probably a holiday destination decide what healthcare they’re allowed to have. Freeze your eggs, track your cycle, plan your career, afford childcare, survive pregnancy… but God forbid you think the uterus you arrived with actually belongs to you. I know a woman who quit her corporate career to get a job at Tractor Supply Co. bc it was the only local company that offered egg freezing/IVF as part of their health benefits package. Needs to be more accessible. And republicans will still turn around and complain bc nObOdYs hAvInG KiDs aNyMoRe 🤪

1. Insurance should cover some (preferably all) of the costs associated with fertility treatment/egg freezing. 2. If they care so much about babies, why are they leaving nearly every barrier in place that obstructs it?

fun fact it was found that eggs are the same health at any time in a woman's life, women have a set amount of eggs (hence menopause) whereas men are the ones who produce low quality sperm the older they are

It’s OK the woman freeze their eggs because it is human to change your mind. You may not want kids today but you might want in the future when you are financially stable or you find love or whatever reason where she lost me is when she started talking that she’s doing it because of men blinding us for action. There are women dying in the south, they’re not afforded access to any reproductive health. They don’t live near big hospitals or have a lot of money. So hearing somebody that has a lot of money and is not suffering in any way does not help the women that are struggling and essentially dying. And that’s disgusting.
