I feel all of this so much. My sister died tragically last year, and dealing with my books/clients texting me nonstop made me want to close my business for good. Coming back after my break was even WORSE. Fast forward today, I’m in the worst funk lately😭 Nobody understands just because you work for yourself you can’t just “take time off”

People glamorize this job so much 😅 but don’t realize how hard it can be on our bodies. I have lower back issues, and some days just showing up and working through the pain is HARD.

felt all of this. and the guilt that comes with having to cancel or reschedule clients as a people pleaser. i’ve literally lived the absolute worst days of my life and still showed up to work so i wouldn’t inconvenience my clients.

I am so sorry you’re going thru this 🥺🫶 I had a similar situation back in 2021 with a 3 month long period due to PCOS. Please take care of yourself, it’s hard & scary to slow down but you’re doing the right thing placing your body as a priority!

Facts… I feel like such a hater when I genuinely don’t have the “if I can do this you can do it” mentality for new estis, especially fresh out of school. Owning a business is wayyyyyy more complex than how I feel 95% of the industry seems online. Thank you for your transparency and hope your months to come are pain free, healthy and busier than ever! You’ve survived but hope you feel relief 🫶🏼🫶🏼

God is so good. 🥹🤍 This has been such an emotional journey for me. Transitioning into Christian music wasn’t necessarily easy because, if I’m being honest, I was comfortable with where my music career was going before. Rapping about myself and making worldly music was a part of how I built this platform. I was seeing growth. I was getting attention. People were telling me I could rap, that I was talented, that I was a lyricist. And for a long time, I thought that was the purpose of my gift. I knew from a young age that music was a gift God gave me, but I didn’t understand why He gave it to me. I thought maybe it was so people could say, “Keziah, you can rap.” “Keziah, you can sing.” “KEZIAH, you’re talented.” But as I’ve gotten closer to God, He showed me that my gift is so much deeper than worldly applause. It’s not just about people knowing I’m a lyricist. It’s about salvation. It’s about planting seeds. It’s about using the gift God gave me to point people back to Him. And when God began calling me to change, I had to make a decision: Would I stay comfortable with what I knew, or would I trust the One who gave me the gift in the first place? And I chose God. Because if God tells me to let something go, I have to trust that it’s because He has something better. 🙏🏽 I knew my gift before, but now I understand the purpose behind my gift. This is no longer just a music career to me. This is a music ministry. And every song is more than just a song. It’s a seed that God has allowed me to plant. 🌱 I pray that as I continue getting closer to God, my lyrics become more effective in reaching the hearts of those who hear them. I pray that my motives always stay rooted in God and never become rooted in fame, numbers, attention, or applause. And I pray that my Bouquets 🤍💐 have an environment here where we can all grow closer to God together not just through my music, but through me as a person. To everyone who has supported me through this transition, thank you. Truly. 🌹🥹 I know this is just the beginning, and I know God is going to get so much glory. And if there’s anything I want someone to take from my journey, it’s this: Trust God. Even when He asks you to walk away from something you’re comfortable with. Even when you don’t understand what He’s doing. Even when His plan looks completely different from the plan you had for yourself. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 God sees what you can’t see. And prayer works. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to pray without ceasing. If you’re doing good, pray. If you’re bad, pray. If you’re strong, pray. If you’re weak, pray. If you’re joyful, pray. If you’re angry, pray. Just keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep seeking God. God bless you, Bouquets. 💐🤍 Keep growing in God. I love y’all so much. This is just the beginning. 🌹🥹🫂 #christianrap #fyp #viral #richmondvirginia #christian
