No because this is actually a pretty normal brain thing 😭 your brain doesn’t process every object by carefully identifying it first, it basically uses context and pattern recognition to predict what you’re looking at. If you’re expecting a dog or a Red Bull and the microphone is in roughly the same position/shape, your brain can briefly categorise it as the thing you were expecting before your actual visual processing catches up and corrects it. It’s basically predictive processing + top-down perception, not them genuinely thinking microphones are dogs 😭 the brain just takes shortcuts because apparently accuracy is optional.
