I just fired someone for trying to send company emails to their personal email. After finding that, we did an audit of their computer. Found 1,900 non-work related internet web pages on one internet browser, and hundreds more on another. Would have been more but one browser deletes the history after 90 days. Of these web pages were many job searches, of which started on day 4 of their job. Now they are trying to collect unemployment. Employees are wild.

Not HR but I’ve literally had someone come barging into my office yelling at me and just stared at him blankly until he stopped to take a breath then slowly said “It’s way too early to be this mad and way too disrespectful to be yelling at me. Try again.” He got big mad and left. His manager was not impressed when he found out.

Whenever we get a random ‘ridiculous ’ and ‘out of the blue/don’t they have anything better do worry about or do’ e mail about ridiculous new policy….we all know someone in one of our satellite houses somewhere has done this recently and we now ALL get the e mail. And the gossip mill starts flying. Do YOU know who? Did YOU hear who? How could ANYONE!?! Think THIS would be okay…..? But you know it happened or we wouldn’t all be getting the e mail now about the most ridiculous dress code violation, company credit card violation, phone etiquette etc etc etc….🙄

a lot of the job postings in 2026 be pissing me off because what do you mean you’re only offering $13.50 an hour for leasing agent and they have to be licensed plus you demand a bachelors degree?
