Pokemon is actually more like yugioh weirdly enough they search thru thier decks just about as much as yugioh it feels

The thing with YiGiOh is that...you can interact on their turn. (And unless you've built your deck to break boards, you should be building it to interact on their turn, assuming you're playing intending to win anything.) And you lose if you spend 5 minutes on your turn (on MD) which rarely comes up because 5 minutes is kinda way more than people need, even with the interaction.

the thing about yugioh is the turn isn't played like the other games. the real turn one is just like, "foolish burial, response?" and by that point your opponent is already playing the game
