I saw in uganda you guys still have the spirits/ liquor in the sachets like we used to have back in the 90s 😭😭😭 that one blew my mind i wanted to smuggle one as a souvenir 😂😂

been to Kampala. she's correct 💯. similar to Tz. Alcohol is sold in retail shop kando ya unga, majani. Even street hawkers sell beside sweets and biscuits, openly, it's legal. a 10 year old will sell you alcohol at their parents shop. wale wa pombe nusu, an 8 yr old atakupimia. yeah, it's crazy.

in Kenya, Children are forbidden to enter anywhere alcohol is sold. in Uganda children can freely enter bars

And they have to be in specific locations not close to homes or schools and must be licensed. They are highly regulated to discourage alcoholism and prevent an alcohol based health crises.

and the rules are you can only buy after 10 am eg in supermarkets.. and in supermarkets they don't sell past 10 pm.... even if you cried blood coz their cash registers are audited from time to time by the authorities
