True long term weight loss requires a PERMANENT AND COMPLETE lifestyle & diet change. There’s no avoiding it. That’s why things like Ozempic are considered shortcuts. You can lose weight on them. But the destination is the same: you have to change to keep weight off

So what is she saying? Because some people don’t maintain the weight loss, there’s no reason for her to try?

Lost 70 pounds. Making more money, wife is more intimate with me, getting better sleep. Never going back to not tracking calories or skipping gym sessions

As someone that lost 50lbs then gained it all back PLUS more. It 1000% my fault. It wasnt my body, my metabolism wasnt messed up, I chose bad food and way too much of it. Ive now lost another 50lbs and this time its going to be different

idk how to start. starting with 10 k steps 30 mins in the gym , completely changing my diet over night is super unrealistic

Hit 100lbs down, took me two years because I had to build new habits and systems. Never going back to that weight because I have a vastly different lifestyle now.

I’ve lost 235 lbs. (yes with glp-1)… lost it over three years and maintained for three years. In the kitchen and in the gym daily. It’s work. It’s great work. Addicting work! Haha

this is why its so important that people know that you do in fact have control over what your body looks like. it is not hopeless!!

The hardest part about maintaning weight is that most of us think that after losing 50+ pounds that means you can go back to eating like you did when you gained those pounds in the first place, that’s why people gain weight after losing and lose motivation. If you don’t create a new habit after losing weight, you would’ve done it in vain

It’s like using the fact that most people trying to become sober end up relapsing as a reason to not tell people to be sober.

I went from 195 lbs to 155 lbs. Gained all the weight right back, then went back down to my 155. Damn sure I'll never go back.
