There isn't anything wrong with a little discipline. But when you go overboard it's abuse and cruel and deserves to be dealt with correctly by the police. That child was at risk with that man,he doesn't have the emotional responsibility it takes to deal with a kid on a every day basis obviously.

I think maybe he should have parent in class at the most. As you see at the hospital, he was not injured severely injured. Anything do not separate parents from their children for a good parent maybe misdirected I don’t think this man deserve any punishment. He deserves parenting classes to find a better way and maybe anger management, but nothing past that.
