Have him xrayed I got a kitten who loved to come snuggle and hated being held. Started to just limp one day and had a genetic condition where his bones were breaking.

Cats sometimes choose one person that they let hold/ touch them the cat in the picture is my beautiful baby boy and he only lets me hold him he gets so scared and offended when anyone else tries it’s completely normal for them and it’s best to let them choose who they want to hold them otherwise it can cause some anxiety and trust issues

orange cats can be selective. my orange cat is my Velcro cat, doesn't give a flip about anyone else. when I was a teenager I had an orange cat who was also a Velcro cat, but only to me. orange cats are just orange cats.

leave him alone. he has chosen his person and it isn't you. please don't take it the wrong way. I have a cat and she is mine and I am here human. she HATES being touched or held by anyone else. but I can do that and she loves it

Cats are big on bodily autonomy. let him get affection on his terms. not all cats are going to be cuddle bugs. lots of cats have one or two people they bond to. let him be your daughter's cat.

Well, he’s an orange cat and orange cats are well they are very different. Lol I would not be surprised if one day he gets up and cuddles you so much and then the next day is exactly the same way. They have very big personalities and sometimes not a lot going on upstairs. Lol but orange cats are awesome.

cats are more comfortable with people whom let the cat come to them not the other way around. as an adhd kid whom owned a cat i struggled with it the longest time, but now that im 22 and calmed down a lot after developing crps my cat is very affectionate towards me! he has calmed down too tbf, we kinda grew up to be adults together and i wouldnt be surprised if he thinks i’m his sibling due to my infinite energy as a kid

cats often choose their one person, that is probably you're daughter. you are probably just only who feed him and that will just be it 😂 cats are so interesting, my older cat dislike everyone else but loves me. my other cat he loves everyone so it is just cat own personality
