in the European cup that year they had bayern and barca in the group stages, then played inter in qtrs who had r9, Zanetti, baggio and simeone in then played juve in semis who had Zidane, del piero, deschamps, David's, conte, inzaghi in, then played bayern in the final, also that season we played Liverpool, chelsea and arsenal on the way to the final and played Newcastle in the final who was a good side back then, we also didn't lose any game in any comp from 19th December and went unbeaten in cl all season, the disrespect is an absolute joke when it comes to this team

That season in the cups United got Barca and Bayern in the group stage then R9’s Inter, Zidane’s Juve and Bayern again then in the FA cup beat Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle. Not only did they win the treble, they did it the hard way

You probably have 6/7 players from that team who are in conversation for best ever prem players in their positions. Schmeichel, Neville, Stam, Irwin, Keane, Scholes, Giggs. Including the best Striker partnership in the prem ever. And David Beckham and others. It’s such a bad shout from them to even question it
