I’m just gonna be dead ass. Somebody will hate me as much as they can, but I don’t care. I hate when people bring their kids to places that are supposed to be quiet. Like don’t get me wrong not every restaurant and store needs to be dead silent but when you go to a coffee shop that has plenty of tables and looks just quiet and calming and you bring your kid who’s crying and yelling in there, I’m gonna have an aneurysm

This is why I bring my noise cancelling earplugs or my headphones, that way I’m able to read and people can be as loud as they want (even children because they have the right to exist even when they’re loud and it irritates me)

Why is everyone mad at you hello. You didn’t even react negatively. You put your headphones in and read without doing or saying anything. And as much as “kids are allowed in spaces” people are just as much allowed to be annoyed with a kid screaming and crying. Especially in places that have specifically more quiet calm vibes like coffee shops and libraries
