That Kingdom was not lost, just very tail end of the Great Egyptians. We know of them of course! We do NOT know all of the intricacies of their tech or history, especially when it comes to Visitors from other places. There are many stories about various beings coming to help and guide maybe even rule these Egyptians, provide new technologies and techniques vastly improving their lives and society.
