When coming up with your first game idea, it should be simple enough that you feel you can build it in 1 day MAX (it will most likely take longer but that’s a good gauge)

yeah, no. this entirely depends on how complex of a game you’re making. if you plan to make some low-complexity simulator or something, then these tips (especially the don’t spend months on-) one. i’m personally working on a large scale project, and releasing it early for feedback would not be a good idea.

Yeah I tried making my first game a fast ai game (I’m currently second month in) and I’m only at like 50% I gave up the fast game idea and I want it to look quality made taking so long because I’m learning everything besides using ai to script for me
