Also you don’t need to read the whole book! You need to scan the text for a point that backs your argument. I did not read one book cover to cover. I got a 1st in my disso & overall 1st class 🥰

I worked in legal compliance for years and this is a tried and true formula in how we write. It can further be narrowed down to Point, Illustration, Application. Works everytime.

but thats a whole paragraph of just source references. do you not get penalised for basically having the majority of your work just be references? what's the ratio allowed? I assumed you need to write majority of your own work, then use references every now and then to back it up
