Apparently the word rap in itself is actually slang evolved from English in the 1500’s “to utter words sharply”. Black Americans in the 60’s and 70’s coined it as rap. Which further reinforces the notion that AAVE and “modern English” can/do coexist and though AAVE is seen as “ghetto” it very much is versatile and ultimately influential

Rap is speed poetry with more meaning and nuance thrown into crafting songs than most are willing to challenge themselves to try. As a peach toned person, I wish I could have that kinda lyrical flow at the tip of my tongue, especially hearing people who can free style. You 100% on point, nothing I can really add that you didn't cover.
