You’ll see! 😂❤️ For 2 years I’ve been turning up to practise my Khaleeji dance steps, and Saudi style is still the style I’m most drawn to. The last time I recorded myself was in May, and I can actually see some improvement. I know some of you out in the Gulf might judge me or even laugh 😂 but living in London, we have very limited access to information about your dance art. So bear with me… I’m getting there! This account is documenting the process, not the finish line. The ugly truth of trying to teach yourself another culture’s dance style. Sometimes I watch my videos and think… when will I understand the steps? The beat? The music? The feeling? But one day I’ll get there.
