Simple man by Lynyrd Skynyrd is the song that I sang to my only son Tony since he was a baby unfortunately he went no contact with me over some petty stuff when I was living with my daughter because her husband was killed and I’m her mother of course I stayed with her 11 1/2 months and then she went no contact with me and Tony followed her. She took the babies for me and then she turned around and said I never did that. OK it must’ve been a rehearsal anyways my daughter and I and the girls are good. My son still does not talk to his mother Maria, but simple man that’s our song. It plays on my WPLR. I live in Connecticut WPLR 99.1 rock all day long simple man and eye of the tiger. That was my son-in-law‘s favorite song. God rest his soul poor guy. I still can’t believe he’s gone and the way it happened. The man who killed him was doing over 100 miles an hour three times over the limit and he walked away with a scratch, my son-in-law his Mustang and his body was internally, crushed the death. What a shame he was 47.

That song hits hard! My 19 year old great nephew’s favourite song! It was hard to walk his casket out to this song after his motorcycle accident. 😞
