@girlwithsunglassesss: Lindsay Clancy trial- we are on lunch. As of right now I believe Rebecca Jollatta was doing everything she possibly could to help & hear her. #lindsayclancy #lindsayclancytrial #truecrimetok #truecrime #justice
She said that Patrick said “my wife is not bi-polar” and Lindsay stayed quite.

Curious why Patrick and Lindsay were adamant that she didn’t have bi-polar?

The nurses are putting these doctors to shame with their charting 🙌

Yall remember this when you are looking for providers and are debating between an NP and and a doctor! As a nurse, I always choose an NP!

Important to note that if there is an underlying bipolar, using a ssri alone can cause mania. This is emphasized in NP school to watch for. -np student here

The part that jumped out at me was she stated Patrick stating Lindsay was NOT bipolar. She specifically focused that comment on him. Wonder if Linday was just going with what Patrick thought too to keep the peace in house

NP’s are typically much much better than MD’s

Yeah I actually think the nurses in this case are great the doctors however…. Terrible. Rebecca and Julie have provided documentation and proof and proper answers

Mental health nurse practitioners typically are better than MDs. They listen, they ask questions and dig deeper than surface level, they actually document, and they are EMPATHETIC. I will always pick a mental health NP over a psych MD. that’s not hate on all MDs, but I’ve just never met a psychiatrist MD that actually seemed to give a fuck about their patients. Some of the most unempathetic people you will ever meet.

She couldn’t section her because Lindsay didn’t have a suicide plan yet. Don’t ya’ll listen? If they ask if you have a plan and you say no, they can’t keep you involuntarily.

As a nurse, always choose the NP over the MD, I promise you won’t regret it.

When she said Pat didn’t want to take her to the ED and “waste the day” was crazy. Any loving husband would 100% give two shits about “wasting a day in the ED” and try to get his wife all the help she needed 😭

All of her excessive messaging to Jollatta gives me vibes that she was experiencing some paranoia….just seemed veryyyyy anxious/nervous about every single thing.

I feel like she was doing everything she could based on what information she had. At this point, I feel like Lindsay wasn’t compliant. She immediately said every single change made her so much worse. She did not give the meds a chance AND was obviously telling her family other things. As a long time critical care nurse and mother of an adult daughter that was dx bipolar at 7 years old. Based on the info Lindsay was giving her she did the proper things. People don’t understand the criteria for inpatient admission, meds, or other treatment is based on stupidly specific criteria. If you don’t meet that criteria, insurance won’t pay for things AND the inpatient treatment program can’t admit you. It’s a whole mess. But as of now 3 psych providers have read notes that contradict the civil suit claims.

I do like her demeanor but I struggle with the fact that Lindsey was obviously reaching out to her frantically and I feel like more should have been done than just throwing meds and having the RN reach out. I also don’t know if she truly documented well because most of what was asked about were the MyChart messages which are direct words from Lindsey.

No one should be surprised that a nurse practitioner is better than a doctor. They are damn near doctors and they are patient focused.
