@laylaember: To my beloved best friend of well over 15 years now. My twin flame, my other half, and one of the most important people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. It’s honestly crazy to think about how long we’ve been by each other’s side. We used to stay up talking about what kind of men we would marry, what kind of lives we would have, and where we thought we’d end up. We’d be so giddy at 3 a.m., thinking we were being sneaky by staying up past bedtime, completely unaware of how quickly the years would pass and how much life would change. And now here we are. You’re married. 🥹 I don’t think younger us could have ever imagined this moment, and I’m so unbelievably happy for you. More than anything, I’m proud of you. I’m proud of the woman you’ve become, proud of the life you’re building, and so incredibly proud that you found someone who loves you as deeply and completely as I do. There is something so beautiful about watching someone you love more than words can explain find a person who sees their worth, cherishes them, and chooses them every day. You deserve that kind of love. You deserve to feel safe, adored, celebrated, and supported, and I’m so happy that you have someone who can give you that. Please remember that we are still so young. We have so much life ahead of us, and there is absolutely no timeline that we’re supposed to follow. Nobody’s life looks the same, and nobody’s journey happens in the exact same order. Some people find love early, some later. Some people get married young, some wait. Some people have everything figured out at 25, and some of us are still trying to remember where we put our keys. 😂 And that’s okay. Your life is yours, and you are doing amazing. Never compare your chapter to someone else’s story or convince yourself that you’re behind. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be, and I hope you give yourself the same grace, patience, and love that you give everyone else. I love you more than I could ever properly put into words, and after more than 15 years of friendship, I hope you never doubt how deeply you are loved. I will always be cheering you on, through every version of yourself and every chapter life brings you. I’m so fucking proud of you, and I’m so damn lucky that I get to call you my best friend.
