I understand the point you are making... but its a very dangerous way to make it. There is power in the words we speak... even if they're said with a message behind it with good intent. Peter loved Jesus... but he also denied Jesus... When Jesus spoke about having His commandments and keeps them... He is speaking about His words. He clarifies that two verses later. The whole reason God sent Jesus was because we are not able to keep perfectly His commandments. That is what makes His grace so perfect. To even in jest say that you don't love Jesus is a powerful statement to make. What would He ask you if He was standing in front of you hearing you say that? I remind again, your words have power...

This is flawed… an obscure way to think but I think wrong. I have failed my children many times over but I know I love them. The Lord created us and knew we are sinners. I can love Jesus and be a failure.
