I have had that feeling of not caring if I died, but I didn't actively want to harm myself. So this may not necessarily be suicidal ideation. Mind you that's just my experience.

That is infuriating. She did everything right. Far more than most people. The fact that none of these individuals had a single technique to teach her on how to deal with intrusive thoughts, anxiety, or depression is appalling. That is the purpose of their field. If you do not have techniques to assist peoplewith this, you don’t have a practice.

ya imm on venoflaxin to treat my bipolar for me I feel flat it's like if you went to a funeral yu don't even drop a tear or when everybody is laughing at something that's so funny yu can't comprehend it but I just have to live with it the other way is to dangerous for me this was just an example of the way I thought she felt

What can they do if they do believe her? We lack so much in places that can accommodate that. What can they do but maybe section her for 3 days? They aren’t even allowed to tell anyone how bad it is because of HIPPA.

Regardless of the outcome, I pray this case will change how post partum is handled and cared for. The fact these doctors are so angry is because they know they messed up.
