having been a security guard I'd notice that pretty quickly your best bet is to cut the hole and do what you need then and there but if you need a consistently available access point just cut it and it most likely won't be fixed if it's corporate

@Make w/ Max Have you considered these Velcro Cable Ties? Faster, no knot tying, and price would be roughly comparable if you bought them in bulk. I use them for all kinds of stuff!
