Something playing a huge part in this is people are booking tickets to get into an airport lounge and then canceling afterwards. People always take advantage of nice perks and that’s why they eventually get taken away.

Airlines are jerks. picking is not far to anyone. they screw you over in every way possible and you have no say. they can take your paid seat for any reason no refund. nothing is easy at the airport.

Southwest hasn’t changed… I just booked two Southwest. tickets on the same flight and time by accident… I called customer service, they canceled my ticket and gave me a full refund so that I could rebook the correct 2nd flight b

24hrs a week in advance makes sense to me. Why should you be able to book a flight 38 hours away but can cancel it within 12 hours of departure?

Tbh, they’re just taking advanatage of business fliers. A lot of business flights are booked within 1 week of travel and if it happens to get cxled the next day, they’re sol and won’t be refunded. It’s just businesses tossing the same money back and forth to each other
