Never forgot! I was in 3rd grade in California. I remember when the first tower was hit my school went into lockdown immediately! Second tower hit and it was almost 7-8pm before parents were able to pick us up! The amount of security the school took to let our parents pick us up was absolutely insane but absolutely definitely needed!
