i understand why people like rory. but i don’t get the comments saying that she “suddenly” switched on him. it was always ellis for her. with rory she had great chemistry and fun, it was always something she wanted to do just in the moment. but with ellis it was a slowburn. she held his hand at the movie thing, not rory’s and she was clearly annoyed when he interrupted her date with ellis. and i think people forget that her first thought after spending a drunk night (which again, only something she wanted in the moment) she snuck out and her first thought was “does this ruin the ellis thing”? she never wanted rory. she was just a young girl with only a gay ex boyfriend and liked the attention he gave her. but she clearly had feelings for ellis.
